Death is Not the End - Stop Motion Short Film

This is probably the longest project that I have worked on. With the help of @rachiimi doing many hours of animations by hand, this vision that started from a sketch slowly became a finished stop motion short film. I wanna also thank the many friends and family who helped revise the story and gave their support.

The story goes:
In heaven, there was a small bakery, manned by a single angel. His job was not only to deliver bread to the lost but to guide the spirit of the dead through the process of burning away their earthly bodies. A young girl, who aspired to become a baker (seen from her portrait above her bed and her baking tools on the bottom shelf), suddenly falls ill. As time passed, the gifts from friends and family did nothing to bring joy. One day, she took her last breath. Is this the end? The story continues in a dimly lit bakery, with fires cracking and a strange figure next to her. She gets up and becomes exuberant seeing the baking equipment. She feels no more pain, no more sickness. Seeing this girl’s passion, the angel joins her and begins kneading the dough. Recognizing her gift, the angel hands her a mask, similar to the one he himself wears. The girl joins the angel in this heavenly bakery, providing guidance and bread for the lost people of the world.
